Our editorial approach
How The SEO Blog researches articles, uses AI writing tools, checks sources and handles corrections. Clear explanations and honest uncertainty.
A useful article helps you understand a subject well enough to ask better questions and make better decisions. That is the standard we work towards.
The SEO Blog covers SEO, AI visibility, content and the practical systems behind audience growth. It is published by Fleeta Limited in Ipswich.
Sources you can check
Claims that depend on a source are linked to it. We prefer primary sources: official documentation, original research, standards and first-hand evidence, where those are available.
A source should support the particular claim being made. A link to a recognised name is not enough by itself. When we describe our own interpretation, we say so.
Where AI fits
We use AI writing tools to assist research and drafting. The publishing organisation remains responsible for the result. An editorial-team byline does not imply that a named specialist personally reviewed an article; named authorship or review is stated only when established.
Our editorial standard is to check claims, open supporting sources, distinguish documented facts from interpretation and remove unsupported certainty. Readers should be able to inspect the evidence rather than rely on the identity of the writing tool. See who is responsible for the publication.
Our sister agency works with AI systems. We should be open about using them in our own publishing.
Uncertainty belongs in the answer
Nobody outside a search platform controls how it ranks a page or which sources an AI assistant cites. These systems are not fully published, and they change.
We distinguish documented guidance from working hypotheses and opinions. When evidence is incomplete, the article should say so. We do not promise rankings, citations or traffic outcomes.
No invented evidence
We do not invent statistics, quotations, client names, testimonials or case studies. This publication began under new ownership in September 2026. Its domain history is not evidence of our experience or a claim to earlier authors' work.
Where a number appears, its source or method should be clear. Readership and business outcomes are not used as decoration.
Corrections
If an article is wrong, we correct it. Substantive corrections should explain what changed and when, so a returning reader can understand the difference.
Send the article address, the disputed passage and any supporting source to hello@theseoblog.co.uk. The contact page includes more detail.
Publication and commercial work
The SEO Blog is the publication. SuffolkWeb is our sister agency for websites, business systems, SEO, AI visibility and automation. Both are operated by Fleeta Limited.
Our existing practical guidance pages describe how this work is done, including AI systems, AI visibility, automation and SEO. Commercial enquiries and quotation requests belong with SuffolkWeb.
An article should be useful on its own. You do not need to buy a service to learn from the writing.
When an example concerns a product or business in our founder's portfolio, we disclose that relationship beside the example. Search Console measurements, third-party estimates and founder-reported business outcomes are labelled separately. We do not use an internal case study as independent validation of our own service.
The domain's earlier life
This domain published a different SEO blog under previous owners. We have no connection to those authors and make no claim to their writing. Existing addresses with a clear subject redirect to relevant current articles. The full history is on the about page.
